Secure cloud access for your Tally data
Putting financial data on a phone is a reasonable thing to be cautious about. Here is precisely where your Tally data sits, how it travels, who can read it, and what remains under your control.

Your Tally installation never moves
FinlyticZ does not replace or relocate Tally. Your company data files stay on your own machine, exactly where they are today. A lightweight connector runs on that PC and reads through Tally’s own XML interface over HTTP — not ODBC — so nothing about your existing setup changes and Tally remains the source of truth throughout.
AES-256, in transit and at rest
Data synced from the connector to the FinlyticZ cloud is encrypted with AES-256 on the way, and stored encrypted once it arrives. The mobile app reads from that encrypted store over an authenticated session — there is no point in the chain where your ledgers travel or sit in plain text.
Role-based access, per person
Access is granted per user, not per company. Owners, accountants, field sales staff and finance controllers each see only the companies and reports their role requires — a collections agent tracking outstanding payments has no reason to see the balance sheet. Accounts are verified by OTP at signup.
Backed up, with redundancy
Synced data is backed up automatically with multiple redundancy layers, on infrastructure carrying a 99.9% uptime SLA. If your office PC fails, your synced reports remain reachable from the app while you restore Tally locally.
You keep ownership
FinlyticZ operates a zero-data-sharing policy: your financial data is not sold, shared or used for any purpose beyond providing the service to you. You can export or permanently delete your data whenever you choose, without having to justify the request.
Security questions we get asked
Yes, provided the connection is encrypted and access is controlled. FinlyticZ encrypts data with AES-256 in transit and at rest, authenticates every session, and applies role-based permissions so each team member sees only what their role requires.
FinlyticZ adheres to a strict zero-data-sharing policy. Your data is encrypted using AES-256 and replicated only to provide access through your private mobile app. You retain full ownership at all times and can export or delete it whenever you need to.
On trusted cloud infrastructure with multiple backup layers protecting against loss, downtime and system failure. You retain full ownership and control, and can export or permanently delete your data without unnecessary restrictions.
No. The connector reads from Tally locally — over localhost, or your own LAN if Tally runs on a different PC — and pushes to the FinlyticZ cloud over an encrypted outbound connection. Tally itself is not exposed to the public internet, and port 9000 only needs to be reachable inside your own network.
You decide. Permissions are assigned per user when you add team members, and can be changed at any time. We recommend setting roles deliberately at setup rather than granting everyone full access for convenience.
